Best Season

According to the executive committee, you can enjoy it from late June to late August, but the best time to see it is during the month from early July to just before Obon in August!

Rice plants

Here, seven varieties of rice are planted to create art. According to the information provided at the observation deck,

• White: Yukiasobi
• Red: Beniasobi
• Orange: Akaneasobi
• Green: Midori
• Purple: Murasaki
• Yellow-green: Hitomebore

About the “ワ（Wa）” on the left

The National Rice Field Art Liaison Council is supporting the 2025 “Rice Field Art Character Relay” (cheering on Shohei Ohtani) by assigning the “World Champion : ワールドチャンピオン” to 10 rice field art sites across the country. The rice field art in Oshu City is responsible for the first character.
