I will post the photos and location as a preservation of the site.

starting point for an ascent

while climbing a mountain
Shiratake is 2.2 km long and can be climbed in about 1.5 hours, but the first half of the climb is not easy, and the second half is very difficult. The first half of the climb, however, is very difficult, and you will need to use ropes to get up to the top. However, too heavy baggage is also a consideration, so think carefully before you go up.
On the way to the shrine, you will see an anchor housed on top of the shrine. This is because in the old days, fishermen who came and went in the complicated inlet of Tsushima used Shiratake as a harbor marker, and they put the anchor there to pray for the safety of their boats. However, it must be tough to climb up the mountain with this….

Scenery from the summit
Shiratake is a binaural peak with two peaks. The one you can usually climb for sightseeing is the West Peak (male peak), and the one in the photo is the East Peak (female peak). The East Peak is really cool, so it is worth taking a picture of it! Also, not only the East Rock Peak, but also the rias coast in the background is very nice.
