Diary

Hakata Island, Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture – Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture [Rain]

Woke up at 6:00. I didn’t sleep well because my bedtime is different from usual. I will just have to get used to it.
However, I was surprised when I woke up in the morning. It was raining so hard that the sound of raindrops hitting the tent was loud enough to wake me up. Rain on the second day is a bit depressing….
We packed up our tents under the roof of the roadside station and departed, as the rain was not going to stop even if we waited. The bridges on the Shinamami Strait were hard to see ahead, so it was not an enjoyable Shimanami Kaido.

After arriving in Imabari, we proceeded unhurriedly. For lunch, I had a katsudon (pork cutlet served on top of a bowl of rice) + udon noodles set for 750 yen at a roadside station called “Kazahaya-no-sato Kazawari. In the evening, I had a beef curry for 600 yen at a cafe on Route 56 called idol. The lady was very nice. In the evening, I ate lunch at a convenience store.
The following photos are of Matsuyama City, which I took little by little while the rain stopped. There is a streetcar, JR Matsuyama station is surprisingly small, and there is a big supermarket (Emiful MASAKI)! (Emiful MASAKI).

However, the day was a mess. It rained all day long, and when I stopped my bicycle at the coffee shop idol, before I knew it, the wind knocked over my bicycle, causing my digital camera to break down and my computer’s LCD to malfunction. In addition, I wanted to go to the seaside, but the wrong road led me into the mountains, and I lost 30 km and 3 to 4 hours. It’s hard to check the map on the way when it’s raining. And while riding, the screws on the front carrier come off before you know it, and the light that comes with the bike doesn’t come on even though it is brand new. Rain got it…? It’s supposed to be used outside…. My cell phone is also not working well, and I can’t hear my voice when I make a call, and the pay phone nearby doesn’t respond even if I put in 10 yen.
As expected, I felt depressed, so I stayed at a luxurious business hotel. When the rain is bad, stay in a hotel….I even went to Dogo Onsen (hot spring), albeit at around 9:00 p.m.

I want to travel all over Japan! With this in mind, I am always looking for places to visit when I have long vacations.
I would like to leave some of the videos and photos I have taken as a record of my travels.
In addition to travel, I also enjoy astrophotography and scuba videos.
